Miami is where it all started for XYNN. But Pensacola changed the game. No, not a typo. That is where I went to college. Mhmm, Pcola is located in the Florida panhandle. But many consider it LA. You know, Lower Alabama. White sand. It is a thing there.

This was the land before time, when ‘Gangnam Style’ was #1 and only DIY drones existed. I would walk around the city hauling my overweight tripod and Canon 7D like I owned the place. Rooftop access was the aerial method back then.

My oh my. It has already been 5 years since these moments were captured. Yet their relevance to me is never-ending. The grind has been oh so real and it continues no matter how big our opportunities become. Cannot afford to forget the early dayz.

Here is something you did not know about me: I am not a beach guy. At all.

I love the cold. Boots. Gloves. Parkas. Snow. Which is why I settled in Miami.

Thinking back on all authorizations required to get access to rooftops. So brutal.

Not much has changed. With drones, we still have to get authorization from FAA.

I am not much of a dog guy either. But Ms. Peggy here was a necessary asset.

Shout out to The Toups for sharing their view with me on this day. Memories.

There are pros and cons to being in control of your destiny. It takes discipline.

Also takes a level of insanity to persevere thru all of the “I will let you know”‘s.

Trivia: You actually have to enter a new city to travel from Pcola to Pcola Beach.

That city is Gulf Breeze. Where Wal-Mart grand openings made headline news.

Do Not Ask. I Have No Idea

What That Is Up There.

This has been the most challenging summer in XYNN‘s history. No exaggeration. Simultaneous projects in Los Angeles, Miami, and New York? Geez. Freehand. Brickell City Centre. Douglas Elliman. But this is what we asked for. #nobitchassness

We pretty much downgraded Sony to images only. RED has a full-time job in the video department while Unreal Engine is the CGI software of choice. Yes, we create video game-like renderings of cars and buildings too. Very nerdy stuff to share.

Up next? Behind-the-scenes of Brickell City Centre Lapse. Tyson, what’s good?
