Drone fine art photograph — aerial photography by Xynn Tii

Drone Panorama. Summiting Sant Jeroni at over 4,000 feet above the ground had us both dumbfounded. The pink conglomerate rock of Montserrat sculpted by millions of years of erosion resembles an IRL jigsaw puzzle.

Black Madonna. Stepping foot inside Santa Maria de Montserrat Abbey, the Benedictine monastery, felt like a time capsule from year 1025. A glimpse of that 12th century Romanesque wood carving of the Virgin Mary. La Moreneta.

Serrated Mountain. Designated as a national park in 1987, Montserrat is one of nature’s finest art pieces I have laid eyes on. Diverse Mediterranean vegetation with infinite views of Pyrenees and the island of Majorca. An organism.

Stairway to Heaven. Droning an endless conglomerate sequence.

Valley backdrops as spacious as Earth’s outer orbit. Selfie capture.

Escolonia de Montserrat, OG boy’s choir, performs daily at basilica.

A monastery opened in 1025 by Abbot Oliba. Home to 100 monks.

How pebbles and stones formed these mountains across 65M years.

A massif of sedimentary rocks replacing a river that once flowed here.
