Positano. Sorrento. Amalfi. Playing in Italy’s southern coast as a Drone Fine Artist had me dragging my jaw across the dolomite limestone terrain on the daily. Timeless pastel architecture with pergola-covered walkways. Fuhhh.

Cliffside verticality is how they live in these Campania neighborhoods. Ornate Baroque detail with Byzantine, Islamic, and Norman influences have shaped the historical designs of their homes, cathedrals, and ancient fortresses.

An absurd tapestry of soft yellows, pinks, and terracotta juxtaposed with the cyan Tyrrhenian Sea. “It’s humorous to me, they watchin’ and we just yachtin, island-hoppin‘ off the Amalfi Coast. Mafioso.” So that’s what Jay meant.

Witnessing places like this, I question why I live in the United States.

Southern Italy might as well be a fairytale. It actually looks that good.

Mount Vesuvius in the distance. Cruise shippin’ thru Gulf of Salerno.

Honey color limestone. Locally-made majolica tiles. Winding streets.

Sorrento. Clay terracotta rooftops amidst the Mediterranean climate.

Sunbathing for no reason. An everlasting mood at the Divine Coast.

The drone is my paintbrush. I create aerial art of places from angles that have never been seen before. Series is a monthly art curation and visual narrative of my drone fine art visuals captured in unexpected locations.

Call-to-action: This month marks the 11-year anniversary for Series. Yep, I have been doing this since January 2015. As XYNN online shop is set to open for limited edition framed prints, which photograph would you purchase?

Your support is needed. Artwork sales will fund future trips to produce more art. Take a look at every Series released to date and send me an email for a custom order. Meanwhile, people always gaze at me and the drone like this.
