Born an Artist

Xynn Tii has always seen the world from many vantage points. Raised by an African-American single mother in the military, his childhood was spent in Japan, South Korea, and Germany, absorbing cultures that were shaping his artist vision. Living internationally taught him independence, fortitude, and confidence in unfamiliar places.

At 19, while attending university, he started his studio XYNN in Miami while curiously photographing the streets of Overtown, Wynwood, and Miami Beach. That curiosity led him to careers at Douglas Elliman, Art Basel, and commissioned projects with 1 Hotels, Audemars Piguet, BMW, Louis Vuitton, Sotheby’s, and more.

Now a licensed private and drone pilot, Xynn captures perspective-altering drone photography and video of cities around the world. His design philosophy is shaped by a lifetime of immersion to culture and biophilia. How humans forge relationships with land and nature are patterns most clearly revealed from above.

In 2026, Xynn founded Boho, a modern Art Gallery & Studio for Artists of Color, opening in Williamsburg Brooklyn. Those same childhood lessons of perseverance has prepared him to create a new vantage point: A home where his people can sell their art, create in community, and host the art world on their own terms.

Costa Rica

A childhood fantasy. To rip up and down unpaved Carmen Calle in beloved Santa Teresa Costa Rica with flips flops, sans helmets. For no major reason at all, other than to procure a hefty batch of rambutan from the local dealer.

New York

New York City is definitely my speed; I am so proud to call it home. And to become familiar with the blueprint of its boroughs from the air was soulful. My creativity spilled out naturally as I captured pre-war architecture alongside new construction.

Indonesia

For this rainforest, I shall remain forever grateful. Elevated morning air I breathed as misty clouds kissed the tree tops. Hues of juniper and brunette casted by virgin light through the valleys. Silhouettes of Hornbill’s soaring through a contrasted sky.

Miami Beach

Dear 1 Hotels & Homes, I mean, come on. You have flora growing out of your walls coupled with more varieties of wood than a rainforest. All I can say is that we remain overwhelmed by your organic beauty and are so elated to have met you.

Iceland

Iceland lifted me to an uninhabited dimension of visual hysteria. With landscapes so naturally beautiful, they left me wide-eyed and confused at the same time. These are the kind of moments which come to those in control of their own progress.

Miami
