All I can say… is Wow. Am I seriously paying more in taxes per annum than an alleged multi-billionaire? Really, me? A Brooklyn brown boy with a drone and a dream? The world gets sick, recurring racial injustice, and now tax fraud by guess who.

While we are having so much fun in 2020, let us delve deeper. How is it possible that America enjoys being entertained so compulsively that we allow our salivation for content consumption to distract us from the necessity of human decency?

Consume this: What is your stand in life? What are your values? What is your purpose? Are you contributing to the well-being of the human race and health of the environment in which we inhabit? What will your voice be defined by in November?

Speaking of taxes, why hello Hudson Yards. I see tumbleweeds in your area.

Hemorrhaging taxpayer money while your luxury retailers fall like dominos.

Hudson Yards was structured as a city investment in the wake of 9/11.

So taxpayer dollars are used to bail out this development when needed.

Total subsidy for Hudson Yards is $5.6B with major tax breaks for developers.

A regretful long-term deal given that NYC is the development’s sugar-daddy.

Together the world recognizes the savings benefits of working from home.

Property valuations declining while real estate vacancies are at eerie highs.

Hudson Yards is likely to survive considering the billions it is siphoning.

The city got in bed with HY during the Bloomberg days. No turning back.

Blinding Lights

2020 has helped me declare a stand, values, and voice. My stand in life, which I liken to my purpose, is healthy and productive communication amongst the entire human race. This is our solution to all communication problems and global conflicts.

Values that have stayed with me since childhood include focusing on becoming the best I can be at one thing, reliability toward myself and others, and independence through self-actualization. Adulthood led me to embrace kindness, honesty, and evolving.

My voice is consistently defined by the same declarations that make up my stand and values. The initiative I take in November will be no different than any other time. I give the world notice that human decency is more important than the economy.
