Drone fine art photograph — aerial photography by Xynn Tii

Air traffic control at JFK, LaGuardia, and Newark must know me on a first-name basis by now. Of all the times I called in to log a flight plan for drone operation in their airspace. My goodness, I have been sooo lifted. Dinero, meet your Holy Grail.

New York City is definitely my speed; I am so proud to call it home. And to become familiar with the blueprint of its boroughs from the air was soulful. My creativity spilled out naturally as I captured pre-war architecture alongside new construction.

Dumbo, Harlem, Midtown, TriBeCa, etcetera. Baby boy Dinero and I took an aerial tour to photograph New York with compositions that speak to its never-ending vertical growth and salivating summer beauty. Aaanndd DJ Khaled says, “Another one.”

The layers of Midtown and Financial District during The Golden Hour.

Solar panels at Stuyvesant Town blew my mind from up above. Intuitive.

Linearity of New York can be enjoyed upright, to the side, or in reverse.

A Paul Wall of Central Park. Did you get that reference? Try to keep up.

Early light at the Upper East side provided a lovely gradient backdrop.

Densely populated architecture amongst Central Park. Layers on layers.

Sunset Park with some nasty vantages of Brooklyn, Jersey, and Manhattan.

Those morning ships entering the piers at Red Hook and Financial District.

Favorite hotel in the world, 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge. Summer rooftopping.

Dusk glimpses of 1BB and Pierhouse from angles unattainable by helicopter.

Finale with Lady Liberty herself. The versatility of 8K resolution photographs.

Liberty State Park on deck. Where the most beautiful NY views are witnessed.

New York, Dinero and I Thank You

Thank you to Federal Aviation Administration, airport control tower officials, and New York Police Department for always working with me to safely operate these unmanned aerial system flights. Without your authorization, Series 44 would not exist.

Thank you United States Coast Guard for your feedback at Staten Island. Thank you Battery Park City Authority for not giving Dinero a complement. Thank you air traffic control analysts for ensuring all of my airspace authorizations are up-to-date.

Thank you Harlem for not paying any attention to me when I flew in your neighborhood. Thank you Tudor City for that sunrise vistas of Empire State Building. Thank you Ehle Cameron for this portrait. You got skills and a bright future young lady.
