Dear Miami,

Hello beautiful. You and I have been through a lot of ups and downs these past 10 years, have we not? Remember when we first met? I was a lost teenager working retail and randomly photographing the streets. An ignorant hustler with no responsibilities.

Then I started XYNN and real life kicked in. I did not know how to manage finances. I was arrested for living beyond my means. I went to court for lack of business experience. I trespassed rooftops and ascended construction cranes for the thrill of naivety.

But I am all grown up now and have you to thank for that, Miami. Because you raised me up from that rebellious kid I once was a decade ago. With lessons learned and tribulations far in the past, I am undeniably more intelligent because of you.

You are going to be so proud of me for acknowledging that it is time to remove those training wheels and embark on the next chapter of my career. Though I know you will always be there, a greater opportunity calls upon me. Love and respect.

Sincerely,
Xynn Tii

Thank you Brickell City Centre for giving us the biggest ass spanking ever.

Your nighttime photography is the essence of Miami’s exposed beauty. Lit.

Thank you downtown Miami for showing me the ropes and molding the technique.

Witnessing Brickell grow for a decade was magical, but you are just getting started.

Thank you Arquitectonica, Related, and Swire for making downtown Miami tall.

Working with you constantly and tirelessly each year is one of the greatest lessons.

Thank you Douglas Elliman, Fortune, and One Sotheby’s for the countless projects.

Without you, I would have never known what Miami Beach looks like from above.

Thank you Dinero for always snapping away at those amazing aerials. Reliability.

Our greatest memory is flying north on Brickell Avenue from 25th to 5th. History.

Thank you Miami for always looking so damn beautiful at night. Bright lights.

I promise to visit monthly and not for one moment will I ever get tired of you.

Graduation

This feels as though Miami has handed me a diploma and wished a successful and prosperous future. All of the good things that came from living in the land of the tax-free. XYNN. Array. Private pilot. Spanish. Baby boy Dinero. Story. Oro Padron.

Brutal sacrifices and discipline that were exercised in order to get to this milestone. Living on a friend’s couch for 2 months. Pawning camera equipment to pay off car tickets. Rationing food to pay rent. Let me tell you, Miami and I have been through it.

Our first office remains in Miami, but another metropolis has been screaming XT’s name since first visited 10 years ago. All four seasons, no beach, even worse traffic, and a skyline that makes Dinero drool. The business capital. 212, what’s good?
