Drone fine art photograph — aerial photography by Xynn Tii

I never imagined falling for a girl with carbon fiber legs. But Dragonfly stole my heart the first moment those legs retracted upon liftoff. She is aN unmanned aerial vehicle and my new love affair. Together, we produced 40 drone projects in 30 days. #naptime

From Sunny Isles Beach to Wynwood, these projects have taken us all across south Florida. I have met a diversity of people along the way; Dragonfly tends to be quite the conversation-starter. Heck, some even think she is an alien.

These kids tackled me with questions about my aircraft. Still, we had some video fun!

Port of Miami

Flying at night is super fun, especially when you are just starting out.

You look up and all you see are red head lights and green tail lights.

Dragonfly plays “Find the UFO” with the nightcrawling pedestrians.

After five years, Blog has returned to our website! So fresh, so clean.

XT is debuting a drone video in April. Topic? Bienvenido à Miami.

Thank you Athena du Pré for inspiring my drone’s name, Dragonfly!
