Annnndddd dab. What a hell of a 2016! My goodness. 1 Hotel. Ultra. Faena. Art Basel. And tons of travel adventures! XYNN flew to Brooklyn 5 times for projects with Douglas Elliman and Adidas. I got a pilots license. We opened a new office in Brickell.

Our Series grew organically. We physically trained for a mountain voyage that never happened. I chipped my front tooth 3 times eating honeyscrisp apples. My hair grew six inches. I wore a suit and gave a speech.

XYNN scaled to 15 teammates to execute on really big projects. Our baby boy Dinero acted a fool on every job he touched. We jumped into the CGI game. And in total produced 95 projects. Needless to say, we were pretty lazy this year.

The Faena Hyperlapse

An overwhelming applause to project lead Rob Whitworth and Faena

on the most absurd project of the year! Amazing direction and crew.

The 1 Hotel Timelapse

I have never looked at hotels the same since my experience with 1.

Honestly, I do not want to talk about it. I get emotional every time.

Ultra Miami Aftermovie

Final Kid! Unlike any crew on earth. Congrats Charly, Floor, Maik!

A great honor to experience firsthand how these pros get sh*t done.

White Party Bahamas

And another one! DJ Khaled did not show up but everyone else did.

‘Til next year Ryan Knowles! TY for the hospitality while in Nassau.

Parmelee Key

We never released this video publicly. Until now. The eagle survived.

And Victor Ballestas gets to sleep peacefully at night. Big smiley face.

Taking a look back at our favorite moments of 2016. So bittersweet.

I cannot believe we are still alive after how hard we worked this year.

On to the next, on on to the next one. #nosleep. 2017. Already ready!

On A Very Chilly

80-Degree Miami Evening

I have always been motivated to push forward through self-doubt. The risk of being rejected. The high probability of failure. The inevitable certainty of sacrifice. All of these characteristics of growing XYNN has kept me hungry to continue.

One cannot be afraid to not succeed. Because it is going to happen. It has happened to me more times than I have blinked. Though, it is because I have failed over and over that my company now succeeds. Sounds strange, but failure is my best friend.

And my self-doubt and insecurity keeps me disciplined as the parent of XYNN. My teammates and I are so focused right now, we do not know how to spell the word ‘ditsratcion’. We are in control of our destiny and we thank you for witnessing.
